Getting to Berlin

Most visitors to Berlin will arrive either via flight to Berlin Brandenburg International Airport BER or via train to Berlin Hauptbahnhof

Getting around in Berlin

A trip from BER to Berlin Hauptbahnhof is typically a 50 minute ride by train or by car

The venue, several hotels, and many amenities are within a 10 minute drive or a 25 minute transit ride from Berlin Hauptbahnhof

Public Transit

Berlin has public transit broadly available including trains, trams, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and buses

Tickets can be purchased indivudually by cash or card for a few euros on the platform; don't forget to validate your paper tickets

A Berlin Welcome Card can be purchased to allow free travel on local public transit and also grants discounts for various venues in Berlin

Berlin public transit is available via app; we recommend you try to set it up in advance as not all forms of payment are accepted

Private Transport

Taxis and ridesharing apps are widely available in Berlin

Taxis can be hailed streetside, but may only accept cash

Taxi hailing apps such as FREENOW and Taxi.eu are available; if you wish to use them we recommend you try to set it up in advance as not all forms of payment are accepted

Private car hires like Sixt and rentals as well as car sharing apps like Miles are also available

Uber is available, but you may find cheaper fares and shorter waits with Bolt

Berlin also has a comprehensive transit app, Jelbi, that unifies multiple public and private transport options all in one app.

Staying in Berlin

Several apartments and hotels are located conveniently within easy travel distance of the venue and offer services in English.

Staying close to a train or subway station will make things easier in the event of unpleasant weather.

We'll be updating this section as we receive more questions - if you don't find your answer below, reach out and ask!

The event is somewhere between casual and cocktail, but anything you want to wear we are sure will be okay

We adore your children and would love to see them on Friday and Sunday, however the wedding and reception on Saturday is an adult only event

We will be hosting a child-friendly space offsite nearby with hired babysitters during the event on Saturday, but if you will need any additional childcare we recommend staying at a hotel that provides it as a service
